Hmm, maybe I'll get this before the PS3 drops to an acceptable price. Also, the idea of the Nintendo Archive puts even Sony and Microsoft's ideas to shame. If it's cheap or free, then definetly the way to go. If they even put archives in the revolution games, then I will buy it!

Wii - damn, I'll just call it Revolution.... I'll say yes.

True, but until only a few days ago, Sony had never announced a console for above $299. But I hope it'll be <=$250. <$200 would be great.

The PS3 is expensive because of the Blue Ray drive. Sony will lose about $300-400 per system they sell. It will take about 3-4 years before the price drops to $300-ish

Yeah, it's a lot of fun, most of which comes from actually playing actually playing a video game other than Tetris with my wife. And there's (a responsible level of) alcohol (we play after the kids are put to bed), so that makes it even more fun. I wish there were more than 50 songs, though, or some option to add new ones.

I need to get a second microphone. And I'm considering the dance mat for the whole sing 'n dance mode...but I'm not sure. Tried DDR Mario Mix? Or any of the other games that come bundled w/ or use a mic? I'd prefer to get the other mic or a dance mat bundled with another game rather than order it separately (if you can get the mat bundled...researching right now...).

So what announced games for the Wii is everyone finding exciting/intriguing/etc.?
